About Preity Zinta in real life and the movie of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna

In real life, Preity Zinta is a very warm person. But in Karan Johar’s forthcoming movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna she plays an emotionally cold woman.

From the movie’s promos it is clear that KANK is a film about complexities of human emotions, about relationships not working out right, about differences between two people who are sworn to share their lives together.

The movie has Shah Rukh Khan paired with Preity Zinta and Abhishek Bachchan paired with Rani Mukherjee . But there is something basic missing in both the relationships, that is mutual love and understanding.

Speaking about her role in KANK, Preity Zinta told IANS agency that she plays a cold woman in the film.

“I play this cold woman, which wasn't easy for a warm person like me to do. I have just a few expressions to give away. And I think I have done them well,” Preity is quoted as saying.

Preity has seen few final cuts of the film and she seems pretty impressed with the way KANK has shaped up.

“KANK is unlike anything we have seen before and certainly unlike anything I have done.

Preity is full of praise for her co-stars, particularly for Abhishek Bachchan.

“Abhishek (Bachchan) is going to shock you. His expressions, his interpretation of his character have to be seen to be believed. I truly believe Abhishek is the star of tomorrow,” Preity is quoted.

Preity was with Karan Johar at the recently held Cannes Film Festival in France where the two promoted KANK and also got to tap a wider market for the film.
