WEWE GOMBEL

Based on the terms in the Javanese tradition, it is mentioned that the wewe ghost is an evil spirit ghost who likes to kidnap children for being abandoned and ignored by his parents. In addition, there is a story that says that this wewe gombel ghost is a ghost of a woman who died of suicide due to being chased by people who have accused him of killing her husband who cheated. There is also another story which mentions that such incidents often appear in Gombel area of Semarang, Central Java.
