KUYANG

The kuyang ghost or kawi is a ghost figure who loves to find and suck the blood of women. This ghost is almost like a leak in Bali. The difference is that Kuyang originates from Kalimantan, Papua, and its surroundings. Kuyang is the incarnation of a woman who demands black magic to gain longevity, youthfulness and eternal life. It is said that the age of a kuyang can reach 300 years before the knowledge is passed down to the next generation. The rewards for the devil will continue to ask for fresh blood conditions from newborns, property, or other dirty blood. In the evening the kuyang will fly into a scary ghost that comes with a head shape with all the contents of his belly, but during the day he remains a regular woman.
